In 1963 the USA was #1 in education, health, industry, standard of living, the biggest creditor nation in the World, with a trade surplus of several billion dollars. Now we are #20-40 in education, #37 in health, #6 in industry, destruction of the Middle Class, the biggest debtor nation in the world, and billions in trade deficits.

Today the USA's National debt of $8.5 trillion with other obligations of over $50 trillion. We have an annual budget of $3.5 trillion, and then borrow hundreds of billions of dollars as annual budget deficit added to the National Debt. The USA has a Trade Deficit of $800 billion a year thanks to NAFTA, WTO, and all so-called “Free Trade” Agreements passed by the US Congress and President to export millions of good jobs that benefit only large campaign contributing Multi-national Corporations in search of “cheap labor” at any cost, destroying our tax-base.

When you find yourself in a deep hole the first thing you have to do is: “STOP DIGGING!”

Economists calculate we lose 20,000 jobs for every billion dollars in trade deficit: 20,000 X 800 = 16,000,000 jobs. Service jobs cutting each others' lawns and flipping burgers while Congress votes to increase salaries by thousands of dollars adds insult to injury.
A successful nation must have a sound dollar and economy, rule of law, and protection of personal and property rights. Success is based on a 3-legged stool - Agriculture, Mining, and Manufacturing. This assures the “value-added” jobs that made the U.S. the greatest economy the World has ever seen.

Moral - If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!

Good salaries circulate through the economy of a town several times: stores, banks, etc.

THE CONSTITUTION IS THE SOLUTION

Congress shall have power:

Article 1, Section 8, Clause 5:

To coin money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, ...

Abolish the Federal Reserve which is not federal, has no reserves, and instead is an illegal banking cartel. (Our Central Bank was created by stealth in 1913, is responsible for the Great Depression in 1929, multiple depressions, the dot-com bubble burst in 2000, housing bubble bursting in 2006, huge inflation by taking the U.S. off the gold and silver standard, destroying value of Dollar with worthless fiat paper money and fractional banking, charging the U.S. for printing our money, loaning it to us, and charging us interest for the loan - now exceeding over $350 billion dollars a year.) This will end adding to national debt.
Save $352,000,000,000 annually.

Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11:

To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, ...

Resign from the United Nations (UN) and its umbrella organizations, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank, NATO, UNESCO, etc. The UN was created in 1945 and has presided over 140 wars, most in history. The U.S. pays 22% of the UN dues. Save $2,800,000,000, plus the expense to keep our troops on 450 bases in 130 countries. Bring all troops home in 6 months.

Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3:

To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, ...

Give required 6 months notice to withdraw from NAFTA, WTO, and all “Free Trade” Agreements and renegotiate all trade agreements on an "absolute advantage" trade policy basis. Give all U.S. businesses with factories overseas.

6 months to move back to the U.S. After 6 months, evaluate business doing well enough to remain overseas, and give SBA loans to start up production in the U.S. Businesses not moving back to the U.S. will no longer have foreign located factories insured by U.S. taxpayers. All agriculture imports will be stopped immediately, with the exception of items not capable of being grown in the U.S., such as coffee, bananas, vanilla, coconuts, etc. After 6 months, add import duties on manufactured goods based on cost to produce in the U.S., to “protect” U.S. business.

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States; ...

Article XVI

The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, ...

Abolish the Internal Revenue Service from the Treasury Department, whose sole responsibility is to collect taxes to pay interest to the Federal Reserve.
Save $65,400,000,000.

Replace temporarily with a National Consumption Sales Tax for operating funds, with a low percent based on the size of government after down-sizing.

Article X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Abolish the Federal Education Department and return to local State control.
Save $72,900,000,000.

Abolish Federal Energy Department. Transfer Oak Ridge and other labs to Department of Defense (DOD). Transfer other functions to local State control.
Save $24,500,000,000.

Abolish Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development and return all properties to local State ownership.
Save $42,500,000,000.

Abolish Department of Commerce, used to collect funds for current Administration. Create instead Accounting Department with Controller General in charge. Mission statement will collect and audit expense accounts from all Departments. Secretaries of other Departments and their accounting staffs will be responsible for accuracy of money flowing in and out of their books and create Annual Reports.

If You Want Reform, Vote Reform

Preserve the integrity of legal citizens only voting on ballots with a verifiable paper trail with no expensive “black box” E-voting machines.

Become energy independent and secure our borders and ports.

Conclude the disastrous wars in Iraq and the Middle East.

Stop judicial tyranny.

Bring our Military home from the 450 bases in 130 foreign countries and stop being the “World Policeman” and “Nation-Building” for the United Nations.

Stop Presidents Bush, Fox, and Canada “Security Prosperity Partnership” (SPP), signed in March 2005 to create a borderless American Union, called for by the Council On Foreign Relations in “To Build A North America Union.”

Stop the huge NAFTA I-35 Highway and the sale of highways to foreign businesses to bring Chinese merchandise, narcotics, etc. to a Mexican “Smartport” in Kansas City, MO.

Save our family farms and ranches, especially from the USDA plan to bribe State Legislatures to pass the destructive National Animal Identification System (NAIS).

Save our dying middle class by abolishing economic policies leading to financial self-destruction and a mortgaged country.

1. Register and Vote on paper ballots! Tell your friends and neighbors to vote on paper ballots as well. The more verifiable ballots are cast, the harder it will be to steal an election.
2. Tell your friends and neighbors that Joy Holt is running to restore our Constitutional Republic and reducing federal spending. Together, we can make progress in Kansas.
3. Walk your neighborhood and tell them about the dangers of centralized vote fraud and the other issues that I am addressing.
4. Contact local newspapers, TV stations, radios stations, and web-sites to promote this campaign.
5. Become a leader! This is a campaign for all Kansans to defend our democratic republic. Print out flyers, posters, cards, etc. Promote our web-site.
